New Paint Outside

New Paint Outside

Benefits

Painting the house is certainly a regular (once in a while) maintenance task, and if you just need it redone in the same color, we can do it no problem.  But we invite you to think of this as an opportunity... to present a new face to the world, to give you something to talk to your friends and neighbors about, to make a fun family activity and select a color... something more than just a maintenance task.  But if you prefer to keep it the same that's ok too.  There's something to be said for consistency.  Either way we support you, and we're here if you need us.

New Porch

New Porch

Late spring and early summer is the classic time of year for sitting on the porch, saying hi to neighbors, and enjoying the day.  How easy is your porch to spend time on, and how do you want it to look?

New Landscaping

New Landscaping

Benefits

Tired of dealing with grass?  Weeds?  Bugs?  New landscaping can help.  Trouble with puddles in the yard, invasive plants, or underground animals?  New landscaping can help.  Tired of looking at the cheap boxwoods installed by the builder or previous owner?  You guessed it.

When it comes to new plants, we like to focus on finding the magic meeting place of your individual sense of beauty, proper placement, ease of maintenance, and the use of local plants when possible.  The last thing you want right next to your house is a tree with strong roots, or a bush that needs a lot of water.  If you're considering adding hard-scape elements like walls, steps, or grading, we focus on the long term - to avoid issues like buckling patio floors or leaning retaining walls.  Whether you want a special set of plants, a bird watching paradise, or a new veggie garden with bee hives, we'll make sure it fits your house, your needs, and your overall landscape.

New Siding

New Siding

Benefits

Siding is many things to your home...raincoat, windbreaker, insulator, pest deterrent, and individual expression of style and color.  When it breaks down or gets damaged, the elements come in and have their way.  Water rots and molds, wind steals heat and cool, pests make nests, and visitors may get the wrong impression.  If siding is in good condition overall, then repairing siding is our recommended short term solution.  If it is close to or beyond it's useful life, or if you're unhappy with it's looks or it's performance, then it may be time for new siding.

(When we talk about siding, it's not just vinyl siding, it's any material used on outer walls to keep the elements out.  Brick, stone, cedar, pine, cement board, and vinyl are common materials.  We work with all these materials and more.)

New Roofing

New Roofing

Benefits

A new roof keeps the rain out, right?  Yes, but now think about what your roof does when it's not raining.  When it's sunny, it takes the brunt of the sun's powerful nuclear energy.  What does your current roof do with all that heat?  If you have a normal roof then it reflects some if it, and radiates the rest of it into your attic, heating the air inside.  Vents let some of that heat out, but most of it sits right above your ceiling and effects room temperature.   Any new roof can just keep the rain out for another 10 years, but with our help, a new roof can also reflect summer heat, improve indoor comfort, decrease energy usage, and pave the way for a finished attic.
